Know exactly what you want your logo to look like but don’t know how to bring it to life? No problem. That’s where I come in. Below is an example of a client who had the skills to sketch their vision and then passed the baton to me.
I worked with the talented team at EqualiTeam Lewisham – who help and promote equality for all – to bring one team members’ sketch of their new logo to life.
Using just the sketch, I was able to build layers using professional design software Adobe Illustrator.
This tool allows me to create a high resolution logo that will print even up to the largest of formats.
EqualiTeam were very open to discussions about colour psychology and were even able to suggest the colours we should incorporate that would make their logo resonate most effectively with their target audience.
I presented the team with a few different font options for them to choose from.
The background of the logo is a geographic representation of the borough of Lewisham which I was able to create using a design pen on my laptop so it had less rigid lines to match the rest of the logo.
After a few round of revisions – allowing for feedback from the team – the logo was finalised and very well received.
It’s clearly references the initial sketch yet portrays a professional and strong brand image for the important work that EqualiTeam do.
